Albert Albert King
Born April 25, 1923, in Indianola, Miss. Died December 21, 1992 in Memphis, Tenn.
Standing an imposing six-foot-five, 250-pounds, the former bulldozer driver played with brute force, bending the strings on his upside-down Gibson Flying V with a ferocity that could be downright frightening and you can hear it.

Chain Smokin' Texas Style Smokin' Joe Kubek
Joe Kubek born November 30, 1956, in Grove City, PA. Bnois King born 1943, in Delhi, LA.
Kubek and King were each seasoned members of the Texas music community before they were a team. King had concentrated on solo gigs, playing Grant Green-style jazz but invariably tearing into a mournful blues (or two) a night; Kubek gigged and recorded with South Dallas soul-blues luminaries Al "TNT" Braggs, Ernie Johnson and Charlie Roberson and had done some shows with Freddie King. They teamed, honing their act with a series of Monday night gigs at Poor David's Pub, and soon had become an almost dauntingly powerful blues force. They tour relentlessly and are one of the best-selling acts on the Bullseye roster.
