Coal Chamber : Giving the Devil His Due
It is so cool how Cookie Monster has a band. I always thought he would just stick to Sesame Street, but he is a really good singer! He writes really good lyrics too...Big Truck is just a masterpiece. He is just a regular poet. I thought the lyrics to Loco were just wonderfully written too.

Cacophony : Speed Metal Symphony
I bought this CD because Marty Fridman and Jason Becker are great apart and together. This CD brings both of their styles together for an awesome sound of arpeggios, taps, riffs, etc... You name it and these guys play it on the guitar part. Their sound is incredible on songs like Speed Metal Symphony and Desert Island. A must have CD for all music fans and especially guitar players.

My Own Prison: Creed
It took a few years, but the "Seattle sound" migrated south. In 1997 Creed emerged from the sunny state of Florida wielding dark and dulcet postgrunge tones. Their 10-cut debut, My Own Prison, has became a surprising success by filling a niche for needy teen gloom-rockers. Singer Scott Stapp has the soulful and rich Eddie Vedder inflections down pat, but despite Creed's slightly hackneyed approach, My Own Prison is full of strong and memorable.

The atmosphere is full of regret, sorrow, pain, and anger, just what we would count on from a soundtrack with the Crow name on it. What I did not expect was to find a Crow soundtrack that had as much groove, as it does emotion. In my opinion, the best soundtrack of 2000. This soundtrack gives us hope that 2000 will be a rebirth of The Crow!

I just don't understand why they just dropped out of radio and video sight. Happy Pills is just as amazing as Lucy and the debut CD. They kick ass....

Corrosion Of Conformity
After having had this album for a couple weeks, I've really gained a strong appreciation for it. At first I was a little thrown because it seemed good, but with some odd moments, and didn't possess the straight-forward nature of albums like Deliverance and Wiseblood. But it's that depth that provides the best aspects of the album.

Wiseblood sounds not unlike its predecessor, Deliverance, with southern rock leanings and crushing Black Sabbathy riffs, but it's more methodical and deliberate and less adrenaline-hyped overload.
