Jens Johansson: Fission
Sounds like Jaco on bass, but it's all covered by the amazing Jens. Mike Stern and Shawn Lane are tearing it up on this! The import has a bonus track that's 10 min, and it smokes! Go for the gusto!

Johansson/Holdsworth/Johansson: Heavy Machinery
This disk has been in my CD carosel since I bought it. It is a joy to hear Holdsworth playing in top form. The drumming is equally superb.

Journey: Look Into The Future
Simply put, listen to the last two tracks first and then tell me this band's band wasn't one of the most prolific group of "musicians" in rock n roll.

Judas Priest: Demolition [EXPLICIT LYRICS]
After listening to "Jugulator" I was beginning to wonder why I even cared to bother buying a Priest album without Halford. I'm not thinking that after listening to "Demolition". As a long time Priest fan who also likes modern metal, I really am impressed. I don't think it's that Priest have revised their sound so much, as to just evolve. If anything, they have gotten even heavier. Thank God they haven't tried to do "British Steel 2001", because it just wouldn't work today. As a big Halford fan I have to giver Ripper his due, he does a great job on this. He fits Priest like a glove. Best album since "Defenders"!!! ~ Jon Eliot
