John Paul Jones : The Thunderthief

I love John Paul Jones! I witnessed his awesome live act three times: 1999 Cleveland, 2000 Chicago, and 2001 Royal Oak, MI. Zooma was awesome and Thunderthief is better. Any Zepp fan should buy this title and Zooma and see the influences that JPJ had on Led Zeppelin and that his genius carries on. After these two titles Robert and Jimmy are definitely regreting not including him on their Page/Plant titles. Buy them both NOW!

Jag Panzer: Thane to the Throne

I gave this a 5 star masterpiece of rating in terms of concept albums as a rating. Don't get me wrong: the music on this is right up there with, Age of Mastery and Mechanized Warfare. But, the way Panzer put this all together, throwing in the awesome pic of MacBeth as the story, made it almost able to see the whole album as one long track musically, while still making you follow along with the story of the Shakespearian madman, MacBeth

Jacobs Dream : Jacobs Dream

Jacobs Dream's debut is deceptively heavy, mixing highly Maidenish melodies with the musical aggression of the best European power metal acts. Jacobs Dream just might beat Jag Panzer and Steel Prophet in a contest for the best American true/trad metal band

Jens Johansson: Fission

Sounds like Jaco on bass, but it's all covered by the amazing Jens. Mike Stern and Shawn Lane are tearing it up on this! The import has a bonus track that's 10 min, and it smokes! Go for the gusto!

Heavy Machinery "Click me to Order"

Johansson/Holdsworth/Johansson: Heavy Machinery

This disk has been in my CD carosel since I bought it. It is a joy to hear Holdsworth playing in top form. The drumming is equally superb.

Journey: Dream After Dream [IMPORT]

A unique release by the hard-rocking, melodic and widely popular 70's & 80's group Journey, who composed the music on this original soundtrack to a 1981 Japanese movie. 'Dream After Dream' is mostly instrumental and described by fans on Amazon.com as 'atmospheric', 'orchestrated', 'thoughtful' and 'energetic'. Features 'Destiny', 'Little Girl', 'Sandcastles' and six others.

Journey: Journey Continues/Japan Only [IMPORT]

Japanese exclusive 'Best Of' includes all the old classics, 'Wheel In The Sky', 'Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'', 'Who's Crying Now', 'Open Arms' and many more on up to their 2000 hit 'All The Way'. 2001 release.

Look Into the Future "Click me to Order"

Journey: Look Into The Future

Simply put, listen to the last two tracks first and then tell me this band's band wasn't one of the most prolific group of "musicians" in rock n roll.

Judas Priest: Demolition [EXPLICIT LYRICS]

After listening to "Jugulator" I was beginning to wonder why I even cared to bother buying a Priest album without Halford. I'm not thinking that after listening to "Demolition". As a long time Priest fan who also likes modern metal, I really am impressed. I don't think it's that Priest have revised their sound so much, as to just evolve. If anything, they have gotten even heavier. Thank God they haven't tried to do "British Steel 2001", because it just wouldn't work today. As a big Halford fan I have to giver Ripper his due, he does a great job on this. He fits Priest like a glove. Best album since "Defenders"!!! ~ Jon Eliot

Jugulator "Click me to Order"

Judas Priest: Jugulator

This is great metal! This is definitely thrash metal. Scott Travis' unbelievable drumming, gets a five-star rating.
